October 2021 Eastern Red Cedar Benches | |
Here are a few benches completed in October of 2021. Listed from top down we have a 6' Rhinebeck Bench, 5' Garrison Bench, 5' Maverick Bench, 5' Putnam Bench, 5' Croton Bench. There was a total of five 5' Croton Benches that were shipped to Hanson Park Conservancy in Cranford, NJ. |
September 2021 East Meadowbrook Pediments | |
Four pediments decorated using locally harvested mountain laurel boughs. Each pediment measured 11' wide x 6' high to the peak. |
September 2021 Tyson Arbor | |
This 'Tyson Arbor' measures 5' wide x 3' deep and is built entirely using locally harvested eastern red cedar trees and branches. |
August 2021 Meads Mountain Arbor & Gates | |
Just completed 'Meads Mountain Arbor & Gates' measuring 9' wide x 4.5' deep. The majority of the structure is built using eastern red cedar with a couple elements being mountain laurel. |
August 2021 East Branch Bridge | |
Just finished this 12' eastern red cedar bridge. It is inspired by the 'East Branch Bridge' on my website that was built over 20 years ago. It will be dismantled and shipped with easy to follow instructions for reassembly in Tennessee. I don't always get to see my work installed when shipped out of state. My client in Tennessee was kind enough to share this photo of the bridge after installation. |
June 2021 Mountain Laurel Benches | |
Here are two 5' benches built with white oak planks and locally harvested mountain laurel boughs. |
April 2021 Eastern Red Cedar Benches | |
Just completed and ready for delivery. 6' Rhinebeck Bench, 6' Catskill Butterfly Bench, and 4' Taconic Bench. All built entirely using locally harvested eastern red cedar trees and branches. |
April 2021 Eastern Red Cedar Benches | |
For an additional cost I offer the application of a water sealant to the seat surface and all exposed end grains. These two 6' eastern red cedar benches are titled the Rhinebeck Bench and the Sunburst Bench. |
